As New England luxury florists, we are always so excited when we get to work with out-of-town couples! Jessica from Jessica Riley Events put us in touch with this lovely couple from Montana who were planning their wedding at French’s Point in Stockton Springs, Maine! We were thrilled to hear their vision and bring it to life, so they could feel confident and excited as they planned from so far away.

Because they were planning from afar, we were very intentional about understanding the couple’s vision. Peonies are the bride’s favorite flower, so of course, they had to feature in our design! We incorporate five different varieties of peonies to highlight them in every installation, from the bride and bridesmaids’ bouquets to the floral pillars framing the altar and every design in the reception tent! We knew from the get-go that this wedding would lean into bright, romantic blooms with lots of movement.
Every element of this wedding was full of life and color. The bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses in pinks and greens, and the bride’s veil featured embroidered vines and flowers. We were so happy to create a springtime celebration for this happy couple!

We are lucky to have worked extensively at French’s Point, so we knew exactly how to plan our installation. We started with the indoor ceremony space, creating the tall, altar-framing pillars and organically shaped aisle pieces. After the ceremony, we repurposed the altar and aisle pieces to give them a second life during the reception.
In the reception tent, we started by covering the tent poles in greenery, making them feel alive and creating an even more immersive springtime atmosphere. Part of our team focused on the large hanging installations while everyone else focused on placing the centerpieces on the long, family-style tables. The bride wanted the wedding to feel whimsical and homey, so the Jessica Riley Events team procured dozens of mismatched dishes that worked together to create a perfectly curated tablescape. We accented the centerpieces with long, purple tapered candles and mismatched vases in varying blue patterns. The mismatched plates with the peony wedding flowers lining made the reception tent feel like an elegant twist on a fanciful tea party.

Our job as your florists is to create an immersive, unforgettable experience for you and your guests. This goes beyond creating beautiful floral arrangements! We meticulously plan every part of the wedding day so you can be fully present with the people you love and be just as surprised as they are when you walk into a completely transformed ceremony and reception space.
Whether you’re local or far away, you can trust that we prioritize your vision and experience throughout the entire planning process and wedding day.
