Drawing inspiration from none other than Marie Antoinette, we set out to bring “indulgence” to the 21st century. We started with the color of antique brass and the texture of a delicate ostrich feather and infused the palette with overflowing florals and desserts!

As with much of our work, this editorial was an exploration into color and texture theory. We were inspired by the older, moodier film scans of days past blended with deep and subtly autumn tones. We just loved the intricately beaded Theia gown and the lush, covered arch of seasonal foliage!

I’ve always dreamt of a table with loose blooms and loose fruit intermixed with leaves like radicchio and seasonal foliage. On this hot summer day, we brought this vision to life with Carrie Coleman Photography and a stunning berry hued Carol Hannah gown!
